This castle is absolutely stunning, definitely the most well preserved castle we have ever been to and its free to visit too. The view’s from the top of the castle are breathtaking, looking out over Alicante city and the Mediterranean sea.
Well worth a visit if you are in the area or staying near by.
There Is free parking if you drive up to the castle, its rather steep but access is easy and there is also a lift from the bottom of the castle, accessed just off the main road, if you are visiting by foot

We LOVE this park, it’s very picturesque with lovely flowers always blooming along the exterior walls, a beautiful large lake teaming with wildlife and the showstopper is the Large Dragon slide in the well equipped play area.
The Park is dedicated to the European nations, the Lake and small islands are designed in the shape of Europe and the European flags fly proudly from within the lake too.
We absolutely love this park, Parque del milino agua, its definitely our favourite nature park locally. The name translates in English to Watermill Park and there is an old water pump located at the entrance to the park which would have been used many years ago
Parque Reina Sofia is located just outside the center of Guardamar Del Segura. There is an abundance of nature within the park, picturesque ponds of water that run down from the highest point of the park into a larger pond at the bottom. It also has a great play area for the children which is very well maintained.
