If you’re here in late spring or early summer, the firework displays during local festivals like Hogueras are mesmerizing for kids and adults alike. And a tip: the little tapas bars off Calle Castaños often welcome families, so grab some plates while the kids nibble on olives or tortilla. Alicante’s family scene has its own low-key charm, and it’s easy to find fun ways to share the city with the little ones without reheating the usual tourist spots.
