Description
Meet your guide at the entrance of El Artesano, a local turrón producer founded in 1969. After a warm welcome, begin in the shop, where you’ll hear a short overview of the company’s history and its roots in Jijona’s artisan nougat tradition.
Then, head into the factory to follow the turrón-making process step by step. Walk through the different zones, from the almond roaster to the area where the final packaging takes place, and see how carefully selected ingredients are transformed into sweets with Protected Designation of Origin prestige.
To end on the tastiest note, enjoy a guided tasting of four types of turrón, learning to recognize their textures, aromas, and unique flavor profiles as you sample.
