Description
Travel comfortably by air-conditioned car or van from Alicante province center to Les Fonts d’Algar, a protected wetland with rich ecology. The drive takes approximately 30–60 minutes depending on pick-up location, offering mountain views en route.
At Les Fonts d’Algar, take a 1.5-kilometer walk along the Algar River, named after the Arabic word for 'cave.' Along the trail, you will see waterfalls, an old dam, natural springs, and pools suitable for swimming in clear waters.
