Hotel Gran Sol boutique hotel has a cool, relaxing air with a fabulous swimming pool, chic rooms and far-reaching views of the iconic Ifach rock in Calpe.
It is a fabulous venue for a wedding, special celebration, birthday or simply a chill-out evening meal or Sunday lunch.
The Hotel Gran Sol is a small, family-run hotel where you immediately feel at home. As you walk through the door, there is a spacious lounge, bar and restaurant with large windows, so you enjoy views over the pool, the Ifach rock and the impressive beach resort of Calpe.
The hotel attracts clients of all nationalities who create a lovely cosmopolitan air. You can be sure of a very warm welcome from the hotel owner Trude and her staff. The hotel was bought by Norwegian Tor Opseth when he discovered the building on a family holiday in the Alicante region. Since then, they have improved and renovated the property so now it has an impressive restaurant, gorgeous pool and terrace and inviting rooms.
You can also enjoy a range of activities and entertainment including live music, board games, table tennis, and Sky TV with the sports channels. There is a skittles tournament every Wednesday, music quiz every Thursday and an auction every second Saturday.
