Charming elegange! Our recharging stay of a long trip could not have been better. The staff made us feel like "regulars" since walking in the door. The rooms are exactly what we were looking for, charming and unique. The location within Altea and the region provided us the opportunity to explore the area. It was just a three night stay buy we love every minute of our stay.
Our third visit and we feel like old friends being welcomed back. Cannot praise the hotel too highly. Friendly, knowledgable staff (thanks again Sarah for your assistance when we arrived. Your help made things so much more manageable). We return here because of the location and the comfortable (luxurious) rooms and facilities. Lounging on the roof terrace one of our favourite pastimes! Lovely breakfast on day of departure too served by Antonella (owner)! Pencilled in for our trip next year. Keep doing what you are doing Hotel Abaco!! Attached picture shows one of the houses Hotel Abaco also own and rent. We had a tour - then booked it for next year!
This charming boutique hotel feels like a home away from home. The communication was excellent—warm, attentive, and focused on meeting every guest’s needs. The entire team goes above and beyond to create a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is very clean, with thoughtful details that catch your eye and add to its unique character. The cozy terrace is a perfect place to relax, and the delicious breakfasts are a highlight of the stay. The hotel offers outstanding service. The staff creates a warm, homely environment that makes you feel comfortable. A special mention goes to Susana, who was absolutely incredible—radiating positive energy and taking care of every detail with great care. Thanks to her and the whole team, our two-day birthday stay will remain a wonderful memory for a long time.
We had a lovely three-night stay at Abaco, a few weeks ago, a charming boutique hotel perfectly located between Altea’s old town and the seafront. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay- we loved Jasmine, the first person who greeted us. We stayed in a premier room, which was spacious and well-appointed, with a jacuzzi in the bedroom and a large bathroom featuring a two-person shower. The room had plenty of storage and thoughtful amenities, though the bed was queen-sized rather than king. Breakfast was a personalized experience, as guests are asked to choose a time in advance. There was a small buffet with pastries, fruit, cereals, and meats, along with made-to-order eggs and table service for coffee and fresh juice. As a vegetarian, I would have appreciated more veggie options and better separation from meat items (cucumbers on the same platter as bacon didn’t work for me). Breakfast runs from 8:30–10:30 AM, which may not suit early risers. On our checkout day, the hotel accommodated us with an earlier breakfast, which we appreciated. A special thanks to Jasmine and Andria for their warm and attentive service, as well as the staff member with the English accent who went above and beyond. If I may add, the toilet paper keeps falling so if you can change the fixture that holds it would be great! Overall, a great stay with wonderful personal touches. Another small suggestion would be to add more colorful flowers at the entrance for a more inviting first impression vs cactus 😃.
My husband and l have just had a fabulous 2 night stay in this beautiful hotel. Everything about it was fabulous, from the welcome drinks and check in in the terrace, to the chocolates on the bed. Fantastic room with everything we needed. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, Sarah and Antonella were so lovely. Our first time in Altea, such a magical place and the hotel brings a special magic of its own. We will definitely return and have already recommended to our friends. Thank you for everything xx
