We went for breakfast and it was a great choice! 😍 The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of high-quality products, and everything was beautifully presented. We especially loved the toast and the eggs Benedict. 🥑🍳🥐 But if there's one thing we really want to highlight, it's the service: the staff was friendly, kind, and very attentive from the moment we arrived. Without a doubt, it's a place we would return to and highly recommend for enjoying a great breakfast in a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you so much for the wonderful service! 🩵
The hotel was nice and most of the staff were lovely. Unfortunately, one lady at reception left me completely shocked. When I tried to check in, she refused to help and repeatedly told me she was “a ghost here”, that I shouldn’t talk to her or ask her anything, and sent me to another reception in a different building. I understand if check-in was elsewhere, but the way she spoke to me was extremely rude and unprofessional. Thankfully, the staff at the other reception were very helpful.
We were the first to use the room. The only thing I can say is that everything was brand new, but they hadn't plugged in the lamp, the refrigerator, or the coffee maker; it even still had the seal on. They should have done a final check before handing over the key, at least to make sure the refrigerator was turned on. Otherwise, everything was great. The reception staff were incredibly attentive; they gave us another room with two single beds, and when we went downstairs to ask for a double, there was no problem at all. The woman in the cafeteria when we went for breakfast was incredibly professional and helpful. Even the housekeeping staff were super friendly. The location is perfect if you don't have a car because it's a pedestrian street with access only for residents.
To our delight a new hotel has just opened in the core of the older neighborhood of Alicante, just across the street from our favourite La Milagrosa. We decided to sample the breakfast at the Hotel Boutique Porta Ferrisa this morning and were beyond impressed. The decor in the lobby and restaurant area is simple and inviting. The staff are accommodating and attentive to your needs. Then comes the food! This is the first time I have ever been so awed by a breakfast menu. The choices sound familiar, but amazed us in both their presentation and quality. Eggs Benedict with the creamiest hollandaise sauce and Avocado Toast with Smoked Salmon were our choices, we were blown away by the outstanding quality of both. An entire avocado beautifully sliced and layered on top of several slices of smoked salmon, incredible! These hot plate choices were prefaced by an assortment of fruit, cold cuts, cheese and pastries to share. This was a breakfast not to be missed, one of the highlights of our stay here in Alicante. We will definitely return to sample some of the other choices on the menu. Highly recommend the breakfast offerings at Hotel Boutique Porta Ferrisa!!
