A splendid way to see Benidorm at its finest is on the top deck of an old-fashioned English double decker bus.

The panoramic Benidorm sightseeing tour takes in all the major attractions. There are 30 stops and you can hop on and hop off as often as you like.

The bus goes along the Levante and Poniente beaches, past the Gran Hotel Bali (Europe's tallest hotel), past the Rincon de Loix, Parque Elche and along the coast to Villajoyosa, which has charming colourful houses and the delicious Valor chocolate museum.

Original commentary is in Spanish, English and French with buses every hour.

There is another bus which tours around Benidorm and then heads to the pretty neighbouring town of Altea. Altea is worth a visit for its lovely beaches and beautiful old town.

The hop-on hop-off tourist buses are fun ways to find out more about the resort and to get your bearings.
