Moraira can be a difficult place to judge by reviews alone, given the variety of visitors and expectations — and this is another case in point. This restaurant easily deserves a 4.8 rating or better. Although it is technically a hotel restaurant, it excels in every respect. Whoever the chef is deserves enormous credit, because every dish we have tried over the years has been consistently outstanding — genuinely on a Michelin-star level. The same can be said for the rest of the staff, who combine professionalism with a warmth and personal attentiveness that make every visit memorable. In a different setting, this would probably be recognised for what it truly is: an exceptional restaurant with an exceptional team. The beachfront view is simply an added bonus.
