Azul Playa was a good experience overall, but not quite five stars for us. The restaurant was extremely crowded and noisy, with an atmosphere that felt more like a busy canteen than a relaxed seaside meal. The food was good and the portions were filling, although the dishes we chose had very few vegetables. Service was efficient despite how busy the restaurant was. Worth visiting for the food and location, but I would choose a quieter time of day next time.

Amazing experience here ( again!) The food was simply awesome. Highlights were the confit leek and the squid from the bay two textures - loved them both Great service - not over bearing but always there and very very helpful Prices very reasonable and a stunning location
The location and food is good for a touristy restaurant. Terrace area on the beachfront is open but fine. Food is good - ok and a little expensive so affects the overall value for money. Also, no vegetarian options / it's a foreign languages to them! However, service is very nice. Good sized beers!
Food here amazing. Must drop by if in San Juan. The octopus and shrimps are out of this world. Clams were slightly tasteless but very fresh nevertheless.
