Fuimos por la noche a tomar unos cócteles y esa terraza es el paraíso; buen ambiente, buena música, camareros super amables y educados, destacar especialmente la atención de Stefania, Oscar, Febian, Julien, Rober y Estala. Estamos deseando volver a Gandia para repetir.
Had the potential to be amazing. The views are perfect of the hotel, the beach and of course the moon. We arrived at 1000H and ordered our cocktails. Unfortunately the spritz part of our limoncello spritz was absent. But the aggressive guy who came over at 1010 to badger us for payment was it for us, we left. He was a rude guy and normally in spain you need to chase someone for a check. I don't think I've ever experienced a badger in spain before. Also no food offering.
Atmosphere, 5 Stars, Service (from waitstaff) 4 stars. Cocktails, 1 star. Closes at 11PM, walked in at 10, ordered a drink that we had at their sister restaurant 6 floors below (was fine), drink was horrible. The final straw was a rude little guy came to our table at 10:20 to basically demand we pay right then! 8 years in Spain, have never had a check shoved in our face when I had only 1 sip of the (bad) cocktail. No idea who this rude person is, but because of him we will never return.
Moon Lounge Terraza at the RH Bayren Hotel is the sort of place that makes you straighten your jacket and order another drink, purely for professional research. The infinity pool glides towards the horizon like a well executed First Class take off, with Gandia Beach laid out below in full cinematic glory. Views are exceptional sun, sea and that delicious feeling of nowhere else to be. The bar is slick and well run, with staff who understand the golden rule of good service: attentive without hovering. Plenty of seating means no awkward towel reserving behaviour, just relaxed lounging and a gentle hum of holiday glamour. It’s stylish without shouting, polished without being precious. As someone used to delivering high standards at 35,000 feet, I appreciate when things simply work. Moon Lounge does exactly that. Smooth, serene and thoroughly first class turbulence not included, from check in to sunset cocktails.
