The 9th Fira Calp - Calpe gastronomy fair - will be held from 8 to 11 June to showcase Calpe's quality cuisine with 18 restaurants, bars and cocktail bars. Tasty tapas will be on offer throughout the fair at popular prices of €2, 3 and 4 with some drinks and ice-cream at €1.
Fira Calp also offers two culinary demonstrations, a vegan one by Sofía of Juan Sanchez, on Saturday 10 at 17.30 and another on Sunday 11 at 17.30 by the chef at the restaurant Puerto Blanco, Patrick Manguette. There will also be a demonstration of how to make cocktails by one of the best specialists in Europe, Pablo Melian, on Sunday 11 at 18.00.
Visitors to Calp Fire can also enjoy performances and children's entertainment including The Ace Band on Thursday, Salsa in Calpe dance school and the MacLucas Band on Friday, the Sabor a Calpe 2017 competition for the best tapas on Saturday along with Calpe Salsea, and the Xirimiters el Carellot de Calp on Sunday as well as the winner of the best cocktail in Calpe competition.
The fair will open on Thursday, June 8 at 7:00 p.m. and its schedule will be from Friday to Saturday from midday to 01.00. and Sunday from midday to midnight. This fair attracts more than 15,000 visitors over the four days.
