The bodega began in the 1970s when Enrique Mendoza became interested in wine production. During the tour of the vineyard, you will find out about the different grapes, the barrels and how the wines are produced. The vineyard, known as a bodega, is in beautiful countryside in Alfaz del Pi.
After the tour, you can sample some of the wines and have the chance to buy them in the shop. You can also purchase olive oil.
If you like chocolate, you will enjoy the Valor selection of a box of chocolates filled with Enrique Mendoza wines. Valor is produced in Villajoyosa, which is just down the road from the Enrique Mendoza Bodega. You can visit the museum and find out more about how this delicious chocolate is produced. You could visit both attractions in one day.
