What an absolute gem. After an amazing day in Jávea, we stumbled across Sofia’s, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Spain. Everything about this restaurant is done with care and attention to detail. Even something as simple as the spotless bathrooms, complete with proper cloth hand towels, tells you that the owners genuinely care about quality. It immediately gave us confidence that we were in for a great meal, and we certainly weren’t disappointed. The food was exceptional. Like truly exceptional! The tempura prawns were light and perfectly cooked, the Cajun cauliflower was packed with flavour, and the patatas bravas were easily the best we had anywhere in Spain. Every dish had its own unique twist while still respecting the flavours of Spanish cuisine. The squid with black garlic was another standout and beautifully prepared. The apple crumble? … Just wow One of the nicest moments of the evening was meeting owner who came over to chat with us, and it was lovely to hear how she and her family had built such a wonderful restaurant after moving from Scotland many years ago. That personal touch made the evening even more memorable. The atmosphere, the service, the food and the obvious pride the team takes in what they do all combine to create something really special. This isn’t just another restaurant. It’s the kind of place you hope to discover when travelling. If you’re driving, they even have Gin zero. So if you’re visiting Jávea, don’t miss it! Highly recommended.
if I could give them for stars, I would do so without hesitation! They was extremely kind and considerate toward me. I've been there twice, and both times they treated me the same way. I currently have some dietary restrictions, so they kept offering me options, even not in the menu. Everything was really nice 😍 I can't wait to go back and order what I didn't get to eat last time jejeje nice place to have a great food experience 🫶🏻 see you soon!
