What a great find in Gandia. First time visiting this restaurant. Lovely friendly welcome on arrival. Service was spot on. Food was really good, and all homemade. We will definitely return next time we are in Gandia.
Amazing paella, best place in town and budget friendly. We had a set amount of 4 starters, paella main to share and 3 desserts! We translated to communicate with staff and they were very friendly and honest with their prices (they don’t push to make you spend more). Simply deliver you an amazing experience.
The food was amazing and the service was great and very attentive. We got the menu of the day which had four starters, a big arroz del señoret (similar to a paella) and two desserts for great value (27EUR per person). The food was all superb and sitting outside at the terrace was lovely as it was nicely in the shade and not too noisy. This place was a real treat and I absolutely recommend giving them a visit!
We walked into Romanova without a reservation at 20:30h on a Friday, and were enthusiastically greeted by Kovi, who immediately offered us a table. What followed was a masterclass in great, unpretentious food, and incredibly warm and hospitable service. We shared 5-6 plates between two of us— 4 probably would have been enough, but everything was so delicious we wanted to keep trying! Our highlights were the montadito with sardine, and the bacalao carpaccio, but every dish was truly worth trying. We want to come back with empty stomachs to try even more courses! This is our new highlight in Gandia, we will be sure to come back and recommend to friends and family visiting. Thanks for the food and the amazing service 🙏
After an excellent visit last year we were keen to return to this restaurant as soon as we came back to this region, this time with friends and we were not disappointed. After booking a table via WhatsApp we received a warm welcome despite being a little early.. our Spanish is terrible , but we understood we could have a menu with a few tapas followed by several choices of a main course. We had excellent tapas, once again the artichokes were fabulous.. our main course was the seafood paella and the beat I've had. Desserts were great especially the pumpkin and chocolate tart. Service is exceptionally good, food is fantastic and we will most certainly be back as soon as possible! Thank you
