A hidden gem in Alicante This is the place we just came back because it would not match the taste as any of the other places. Fantastic service. Great food. Especially prawns paella sea bass. The tapas is brilliant. The staff are excellent. They look after you even though the place is full of people. Very homely touch 👏👏
We visited El Gosto del Gourmet 4 times during our stay in Alicante. Everything we ordered (paella, seafood, pasta etc) was delicious, one top notch tapa we ordered every evening was the shrimps/prawns with baby eels - our 10y daughter got addicted to this so did we. Staff was friendly and engaging and they even know more than few words in Polish - that was pretty impressive! If we’ll visit Alicante again we visit El Gosto del Gourmet again too!
This place is an absolute 10/10! 🤗 We ordered the garlic prawns and seafood paella, and both dishes were incredibly delicious. We also got some complimentary cheese bites, which was a nice touch. The waiters were consistently polite, attentive, and welcoming, always with a smile. If I’m ever back in Alicante, I’d definitely come again.
El Gosto del Gourmet in Alicante was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely amazing, full of flavor and clearly made with great care. We tried the arroz negro, and it was outstanding — definitely one of the highlights of our visit. The service was very friendly and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Just keep in mind that everything is prepared with attention and care, so it can take a little time — but it’s absolutely worth the wait. The prices are also excellent for the quality you get. A great spot in Alicante for anyone looking to enjoy authentic, delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere!
We are holidaying in Alicante (from Melbourne, Australia), and enjoyed a delicious dinner at El Gosto. The staff are attentive and enchanting. The food is exceptional, and generously sized. We ordered the Squid Ink Paella and the Burrata Salad. They taste like heaven when eaten together. The Sangria was well mixed and ample. I highly recommend El Gosto.
