Visited this bar in May, it looks lovely after renovations, we came to the bar before, it was called Tizianno, all was fine. Sadly the service Is dreadful. We waited a ridiculous amount of time. People watching we noticed other people arriving where basically ignored. A young couple came in and sat down, at one time there were 5 staff at the bar, l think one of them was the manager, assumed because of what he was wearing. We ordered a 2nd glass of wine, l have never seen a waiter taking so long to open a bottle. We were almost finished, the same waiter came over to put a beer mat under our almost empty glasses, while other tables were waiting to order. Lovely bar, lovely staff a pity about the service, quite shocking.
The service was truly exceptional. The owner was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. Not only did he craft custom cocktails tailored to our tastes, but he also made a genuine effort to understand our requests despite the language barrier. When we asked about a specific Spanish dish that wasn’t on the menu, he didn’t just apologize, he invited us to return the next day and personally sourced the ingredients to prepare it just for us. That level of care and dedication is rare. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped by Open Beach on a Friday night for drinks with friends and absolutely loved the experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. Paco—who I believe is the owner—set the tone for a great night with his warmth, friendliness, and genuine passion for what he does. When I asked for a whiskey recommendation, he suggested the best of the best—one that had just been awarded Best Whiskey—and he was incredibly generous with the pour. On top of that, we were treated to complimentary snacks (potato chips and nuts), which are always a welcome touch and show real attention to guest experience. We sat outside where blankets were provided. Inside great music where people danced. We didn’t get a chance to try the food this time, but the way Paco described the menu made it sound delicious, so we’ll definitely be back for that soon. Thank you for such a lovely evening and outstanding hospitality. 🍸
Very impressed. The atmosphere was great, the drinks were high quality and kept on coming, the starters were fantastic, plenty of them, you could be full just with the starters. The paellas weren’t too nice but by then we were already full. They made a great vegetarian paella for us as well which was actually the best one. I see reviews saying that service is slow, and it’s true we were there for 3 hours or so but it was an experience of lots of food and lots of drink spread over a long time in the nicest of ways. If you’re going there to rush through a meal as fast as possible you’re going to the wrong place, this felt like an afternoon of food and drink which was exactly what we wanted.
