Description
We'll drive along the Costa Blanca until we enter the Alicante mountains. We'll cross a natural border that takes us to a completely different landscape in just a few kilometers: a historic territory, the birthplace of legends of Arab warriors, and the origin of the Moors and Christians festivities.
Towns such as La Nucía, Callosa d'en Sarriá, and Benimantell are integrated into the landscape, emerging from the rock itself. An unforgettable visual journey through mountains and valleys.
Sightseeing tour highlights:
Polop de la Marina and its 221 fountains We'll make a stop in this authentic and local village, the summer resort of the writer Gabriel Miró. We'll visit its famous Plaza de los Chorros, where you can drink fresh water from its 221 natural spouts.
El Castell de Guadalest We'll arrive at one of the most visited and beautiful villages in Spain. Guadalest is a medieval fortress nestled in the rock, offering spectacular views of the valley and the turquoise reservoir. Walking through its streets is like traveling back in time.
Algar Waterfalls We'll finish the route in a unique natural setting: a series of waterfalls, 'tolls' (natural pools), and springs. An oasis of crystal-clear water where you can relax and enjoy the surroundings.
