Description
Discover Alicante in a relaxed, comfortable, and immersive way on this accessible city tour by mobility scooter, designed for travelers who want to enjoy the city without effort and at their own pace. Your experience begins at the port of Alicante, at the fountain in Plaza del Puerto. Here, you will meet your guide and take part in a short safety briefing. You will learn how to operate the mobility scooter, receive your wireless audio headset, and feel fully prepared to enjoy the tour with confidence. The route starts with a gentle ride towards Postiguet Beach, where the sea breeze and open views create a refreshing atmosphere. As you move along the coastline, you will discover how Alicante’s geography has shaped one of the oldest cities in the region. Entering the historic center through Puerta del Mar, the pace becomes slower and more relaxed. At Town Hall Square, you will admire one of the city’s most elegant areas, with the option to briefly access the entrance hall. Beneath it, at “The Discovered City,” you will see archaeological remains from different historical periods. The tour continues to the Basilica of Santa María, known for its impressive Baroque façade, and then through the narrow streets of the old town, where you can enjoy the authentic character of Alicante at a calm pace. At the Concatedral de San Nicolás, you will experience a moment of tranquility surrounded by architecture that reflects centuries of local history. Leaving the old town, you will ride along Rambla de Méndez Núñez towards the Teatro Principal, a 19th-century neoclassical landmark. The route continues along Avenida de la Constitución to the Central Market area, where you will have time to relax and enjoy a coffee or refreshment. The experience continues through Portal de Elche and the colorful Calle San Francisco, before reaching the iconic Explanada de España. Here, you will enjoy one of the most scenic parts of the city, riding along its famous mosaic pavement surrounded by palm trees. The tour then passes through Canalejas Park, offering shade and a peaceful atmosphere, before continuing along the marina with views of boats and the waterfront. Throughout the experience, explanations are provided during selected stops using a wireless audio system, ensuring clear communication without interrupting the relaxed pace of the tour. In addition to your certified guide, a mobility specialist will be present to assist you at any time. After approximately 3 hours, you will return to the starting point.Includes
