Stroll through Alicante’s narrow streets while sampling a variety of local dishes. Combine sightseeing with tasting authentic local delicacies on this guided scenic walk.
Your first stop is a local bar for an introduction to Alicante’s gastronomy, including traditions, customs, and regional terms. Enjoy a glass of white wine paired with tapas.
Next, visit the main food market to observe the local atmosphere and learn about fresh regional products such as seafood, almonds, fruits, and vegetables.
Then, stop at a tapas bar within the market to drink a caña (draft beer) or Monastrell red wine from Alicante, paired with fresh seafood tapas and local salads.
The final stop is a local bar where you will taste Alicante’s best Montadito and finish with a toast using a local liquor.
Note: The food market is open Tuesday to Saturday until 2:30 pm. On Sundays and Mondays, the market visit is replaced by bars or restaurants.
