This tour in Villajoyosa starts at the Xarco beach, one of the few beaches that are enabled for dogs to access. There you'll meet and start the activity with an introductory briefing to explain the basic paddling technique and everything you need to know about kayaking. You'll also take the opportunity for the dogs to familiarise themselves with the kayaks, as this will probably be their first experience with this craft and they may feel fear and curiosity. But you'll soon see how it goes with your pet to get on them and enjoy the sea breeze. Once on board the kayaks with the dogs, you'ill head south towards Carritxal Beach, enjoying the spectacular views of the cliffs of the coast of Alicante. It's a quiet route with very calm waters, ideal for your dog to get used to the kayak and perfect your paddling technique. Another alternative route is to head north, first to La Caleta beach and then to l'Esparrelló beach, which is shorter with more cliffs and allows for a light and refreshing walk. If possible, there will be a stop at a quiet cove or beach for a break before returning to the kayaks. Throughout the trip you can play games with kayaks and dogs. You'll then turn around and return to the starting point. Not all kayaks are suitable for use with dogs. That's why you'll have self-bailing and open kayaks for dogs, which allows them to navigate in comfort and safety. You can choose from single to double kayaks, so you can come alone or go as a couple with a pet.
