Description

We start our trip from the center of Alicante in a comfortable car. During a short 20-30 minute drive, you will enjoy beautiful mountain views. The highlight of our trip is the guided visit to the Canelobre Cave, which is over 100 million years old. The cave has one of the highest vaults in Spain, reaching a height of around 70 meters. To access it, we will pass through a 45-meter tunnel. Together with a tour guide, we will travel back in time. We will discover how water and rock have given rise to impressive formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, columns, and jellyfish, among many others. We will learn where the name of the cave comes from and what the word 'canelobre' means. Afterwards, we will visit: - the historic center of the authentic village of Busot; - the Catholic church of Busot; - a museum of musical instruments from around the world.
