Very nice place. Service is super helpful and we felt well taken care like at mamas place. Good variety of available dishes which have different flavours. All sea food and meats are well made and seasoned. Daily lunch menu does not change, but it has not stopped us to visit this place three times during our week stay.
El Mosset is a hidden gem in Albir that you definitely should visit at least once. We chose the menú del día, and the dishes were outstanding in both taste and quality. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. A wonderful place to enjoy great food and good service. Highly recommended!
A place locals love and a little hidden gem. We have heard many people rave about El mosset for a menu del dia so we decided to try it. I was a little skeptical as a menu for 15€ now is almost unheard of. We were not disappointed. Let's be honest for the the food is simple and basic but delicious, however the homemade desserts are to die for. This is traditional Spanish food at a great price. We loved the atmosphere and when we want a traditional Spanish meal for a group to share we will return and try more from the menu orIf we want a quick easy and tasty lunch for 2 we already have our favourites.
Rushed, mediocre food, and poor service. We had a very disappointing experience at El Mosset. The service was incredibly pushy and way too fast. We barely finished our appetizers when the main courses were already slammed onto the table. There was no time to relax at all. The food was a hit-or-miss—mostly miss. The shrimp croquettes tasted only of buttery roux with no shrimp in sight, and the side salad was very bitter. My friend’s lamb was extremely fatty, had a gross texture, and was simply not edible. Mine Spanish style cordon blue was good . To top it off, the cheesecake had no crust and was bizarrely salty. When we pointed out the issues with the lamb, the staff did absolutely nothing. They even charged us an extra €5 for bread and alioli on top of the "Menu Diario," which is usually included in other places. Save your money and go somewhere where they actually value their guests instead of just rushing them out the door.
Was recommended and wasnt dissapointed. Dont often eat traditional spanish so was a lovely change. Ingredients fresh, flavoursome and quickly served. Opted for the menu which was 3 courses and only 13€...excellant value and lovely food. Portions were on the smaller side but ample for 3 course meal. Lovely attentive staff. Highly recommend
