I had an outstanding dining experience at La Ereta in Alicante. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional and made the evening truly memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish beautifully presented and full of flavor. What made the experience even more special was the attention and passion of the staff. The waiters took the time to explain every dish in detail, helping us understand the ingredients, the preparation, and the story behind each creation. I also enjoyed the wine pairing, which was excellent. A special thanks to Victor, the restaurant manager, who guided us through the entire experience. He carefully explained not only the wines but also the dishes and the individual ingredients that made each course unique. His knowledge and enthusiasm added a wonderful educational and sensory dimension to the meal. I would also like to thank Manuel, who provided excellent service throughout the evening. He was professional, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend La Ereta to anyone visiting Alicante, especially those looking for a true sensory and gastronomic experience. It is much more than just a meal—it’s a journey through flavors, aromas, and local culture. I will definitely return.
We visited the restaurant and were immediately impressed by the stunning view overlooking the city. We enjoyed the 6-course tasting menu, and several dishes were truly outstanding. The Black Fish, Pinoso Sausage, and the creative interpretation of Tiramisu were especially memorable and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, 3 out of the 6 courses were noticeably oversalted, making it difficult to appreciate the flavors described in the menu, as the saltiness dominated the palate. I would also like to thank the sommelier for the excellent wine selections, thoughtful recommendations, and attentive service throughout the evening. Their contribution greatly enhanced our dining experience. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with some exceptional highlights, though the seasoning of several dishes could be improved.
Food was great and fun! The first waiter was great but towards the end, a different waitress served my desert from the front and not the side as the previous waiter would do with earlier dishes so I thought the service from her was a bit sloppy. I ordered a bottle of mineral water and not a single waiter/waitress poured the water into my glass the whole night that’s why the service is only 2 stars. My partner and I were waiting to get the bill for a long time we were last to leave! then when we received the bill and were getting ready to leave, nobody said goodbye to us, they were busy cleaning up. 5 stars for food and 4 for atmosphere.
