The food was amazing, especially the 65 day aged steak. The quality was on par with a top line restaurant in London. The waiters were extremely friendly and gave great suggestions for both food and drink. The atmosphere was very accommodating but could be improved with some music
We went to this beautiful restaurant this week as a recommendation from family and it did not disappoint. From the atmosphere, the passion about their food and steaks to the absolutely beautiful flavours from starters, mains and dessert. The owner was fantastic and extremely passionate about his restaurant and brought out the steaks and explained where they beef came from and how they were fed. Even let's you taste a part of the steak before you decide which one you're doing for. Absolutely the best restaurant we went to in Moraira by far. Put this place on your list, you will not be disappointed. Only thing we wished we did was get a bigger cut of streak as it was to die for. Can't wait to go back next year.
We’ve been to Villa el Gourmet twice now and both times the food has been really good. The cooking feels very fresh and focused on quality local ingredients, with a more natural Spanish style where the food speaks for itself. The turbot with champagne and lemon sauce prepared at the table was amazing, and we’ve also had some of the best meat we’ve eaten in the area there. It’s a smaller restaurant, so the manager really takes care of each table and you can tell he genuinely cares about the food and the experience people have. The service is very friendly too, and one of the staff speaks several languages and is happy to help translate anything on the menu. Really lovely place.
