Olea had only been open for about a year, and after hearing positive things, I decided to give it a try. From the outside, you’re welcomed by a large and inviting terrace, but stepping inside is a completely different experience. The elegant interior, high ceilings and stylish décor create an immediate wow factor. My first thought was actually that I was slightly underdressed! Despite the sophisticated surroundings, the atmosphere is warm, relaxed and never feels pretentious. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff were impeccably dressed, professional and genuinely friendly. When I asked my waiter what he would recommend, he suggested the Sea Bass, and I’m very glad I trusted his advice. I started with the Chilli Chicken Tenders, which turned out to be a surprisingly generous starter. The chicken was tender, juicy and coated in a delicious sweet chilli glaze with sesame seeds. It arrived quickly and was beautifully presented. One detail really stood out. After I had finished my starter, a waiter came over and asked whether I would like to wait five or ten minutes before the main course was served. It’s such a small gesture, but one I’ve previously only experienced in high-end restaurants. It showed genuine attention to the overall dining experience rather than simply serving dishes as quickly as possible. The Sea Bass was cooked perfectly and paired beautifully with the potatoes and a chilled glass of white wine. It was a classic dish, executed with confidence, and I’m glad I followed the recommendation. If I were to offer one small suggestion, it would be the garnish. Both dishes were served on a bed of fresh lettuce. While it looks attractive when served, the hot food quickly causes the lettuce to wilt. Especially with the sea bass, I think a small serving of seasonal vegetables would complement the dish even better and elevate an already excellent presentation. Soft lounge music throughout the evening created a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. As a lovely finishing touch, I was offered a complimentary limoncello with the bill. Before leaving, I asked if I could take a few photos of their impressive wine display for my Google review. After mentioning that I enjoy reviewing restaurants, the owner came over for a friendly chat, we took a photo together, and I left with a warm “see you again.” Overall, Olea delivers a fantastic dining experience with beautiful surroundings, exceptional service and very good food. It takes a lot for me to award five stars, but the complete experience deserved it. I’ll definitely be back—and next time I’ll make sure to save room for dessert.
staff were very friendly and had no trouble talking to them in english. it’s quiet but not empty, the food was amazing and didn’t wait longer than 10 minutes for our food. 100% recommend.
Having stayed in Quesada for the last four years, I’ve eaten at most restaurants in and around the area. For whatever reason, I’d never visited Olea until last night, and I’m so glad I finally did. The whole experience was fantastic from start to finish. Genuinely some of the best food and service I’ve experienced here. The quality of the food, the presentation, and the attention to detail were outstanding. Without doubt one of the best restaurants in the area and I’d highly recommend it.
Absolutely amazing food, and even better service! The attentive staff made sure you knew everything you needed, including the specials, what cut the meat is, and even offered recommendations for desserts! We were blown away by the portion sizes and the reasonable prices, and the lovely decor of the restaurant! Thoroughly recommend!
We had an excellent meal, coconut shrimp was very well presented. No complaints with the arancini. For mains we had the thai curry and the chef special, cod with gratin potatoes. Paired with the servers recommendation of an Albarino. It was an excellent evening, just a shame more people werent here to create more of an atmosphere. Total bill was 87 euros, but to be fair the quality of the food and wine is hard to match in this area.
