Lovely place to sit looking at the harbour having a drink or food. More like a street restaurant than a dinner restaurant. Good coffee and prices are very good. Winter evenings you get late sun and less breeze.
El Chiringuito CNC is a fantastic place to enjoy the sea breeze and a wonderful atmosphere right by the water. The location is absolutely privileged, offering beautiful views that make any meal or drink feel special. It is the perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach or to enjoy a casual lunch with friends and family. The service was friendly and efficient, and the menu offers great Mediterranean options that are both fresh and tasty. I particularly enjoyed the relaxed, authentic coastal vibe that this place maintains. Everything from the presentation of the food to the overall cleanliness of the area was spot on. If you are looking for a genuine chiringuito experience with high quality and a great view, this is definitely the place to go. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
We have been visiting this restaurant every year for a long time, so we have a very good basis for comparison. Unfortunately, this time we were extremely disappointed. The location of the restaurant is very beautiful, right at the harbor, which makes the experience especially appealing. However, the restaurant itself feels very outdated. During our visit, the roof rattled loudly with every gust of wind, which was quite distracting and uncomfortable. As a starter, we ordered Patatas Bravas, but what we received were simple chips with tomato sauce — this had nothing to do with the actual dish. The paella was also a major letdown. It was very watery, lacked the typical crispy, slightly burnt socarrat, and the flavor was very bland. Compared to previous years, the quality has clearly declined. The biggest disappointment, however, was the dessert. The crema catalana was, to put it mildly, inedible. The sugar was not caramelized but burned, leaving a taste reminiscent of a burnt New Year’s firecracker. To top it all off, this time there wasn’t even a complimentary limoncello — despite a bill of around €160. Overall, a visit that fell far short of the standard we were used to and left us deeply disappointed.
