We rented a villa on the same street as Saen and ordered takeaway paella for our first evening. It was excellent. We ordered two - Valencia and Seafood; both were great, the Seafood one in particular. Service was amazing - the waiters kindly carried the large paella pans up the hill to our villa. It was so enjoyable, we ordered it again for our final night.
Saen was an amazing experience. We went with a group of 7 and the staff took care of all our needs. Lovely atmosphere, great wine and the food was divine. Chef Santiago came out and greeted us. You can see that he is pouring his heart and soul into this project.
Absolutely perfect. Relaxed and warm with a very professional and friendly staff — and of course excellent food, beautifully presented. They went above and beyond to make sure our meal was perfect. Do not hesitate to eat here. Our family cannot wait to come back and we thank you for such a memorable meal.
What a fabulous family run restaurant this hidden gem, a short distance away from the main selection of restaurants along the sea road, offering a warm greeting and attentive service and fabulous food with an extensive wine list, many of the quality wines are supplied by Martha’s Vineyard. The presentation of the food is equal to that of a Michelin star restaurant and flavours to excite the pallet. Needless to say we booked a return visit in order to experience the wonderful flavours from the extensive menu.
