We had a very enjoyable experience at Fish Bowl and overall the restaurant definitely deserves five stars. We started with the Black Angus steak tartare, which was beautifully presented and very tasty, followed by the Thai king prawns. The highlight was the BBQ jerk lobster with plantain fries and Asian salad generous, full of flavour and a great dish to share. We ended with the Black Angus ribeye steak, which was almost rare and we asked to make it more medium and at the end it was cooked with excellent quality. The cocktails were also creative and fun. There were, however, a couple of small service details worth mentioning. When ordering the lobster, we were told it was €57, while the final bill showed €62.75. With the steak, I initially wanted the chimichurri, but our waiter recommended the peppercorn sauce instead, which I agreed to — yet the steak arrived with the chimichurri anyway. Nothing serious and it certainly didn’t spoil our experience, but a small note to the management that a little more attention to communication and order details would make the service even better. Restaurants can have small mistakes, and what matters is the overall experience. In our case, the food was excellent, the atmosphere relaxed and enjoyable, and we left very satisfied. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting, and we would happily return.
I celebrated, with 40 friends!!!, my 65th birthday at Fishbowl last night! Fantastic! Fun, and fabulous food and staff team! 🥰
