I absolutely love this place. The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is excellent, and the sea bass baked in coarse salt is a must-try — simply amazing.
Great setting, great food but like many restaurants in Alicante, a lack of waiters for the number of clients which makes for slow service and response. Food was faultless, ingredients of very high quality, very fresh and very well prepared from the ensalada to the croquettes to the foie to the salad to the seafood vegetable fideua to the solomillo and deserts. The quality and taste of the solomillo was surprisingly better than the meat of some top Alicante steakhouses. Highly recommend for a special event or celebration...
I had a wonderful afternoon at Finca Santa Luzia during their Gastronomic Days on Thursday 5th March. 4 of us dined and sat on our private table after the tasting sessions. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and provided the best service imaginable. The experience began with a relaxed cocktail reception featuring Iberian bellota ham, artisan cheeses, cured fish from the Mar Menor and several live cooking stations including rice, bluefin tuna and premium Discarlux beef. We then sat down to a beautifully balanced tasting menu with carefully paired wines from regions such as Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Mallorca. Highlights included roasted peppers with burrata, confit leeks with romesco, Iberian pork “secreto” coca bread, and a magnificent dry-aged rib steak. The attention to detail in both the food and wine pairings was exceptional, and the whole afternoon was informative, relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable. A fantastic gastronomic experience — highly recommended.
