Restaurante Chef Amadeo
Alicante
レビュー
the food was tasty, but the portions are small considering their prices. while we were eating they kept staring at us which i found uncomfortable. overall i think the prices are too high and if you make a reservation that you want to cancel you have to pay 20€ per person
Very limited seatings so adviced to book early and arrive on time. What can we say, Chef Amadeo is an ambassador for Valencia food. My wife is from Madrid and had eaten all over the country. We both agree it's the best rice we have had, anywhere! We has rice with Blue Lobster for 3. There were 1.5 lobsters in there. Full of other seafood like squid, fish and scallops to round of the flavour. We had Meloso which means it is a bit wet with the stock. Unlike others it is rich and not too eatery. Rice cooked to perfection. Cooked through without being too soft. And most of all, unlike other places, its the first rice where we didn't find it too salty. We had a few other side dishes which again was done to perfection. True you can get fresh seafood elsewhere too. But it was done with that extra finesse and attention to detail. And for all that, the price is highly comparable to other places. Making it extremely good value for money. Last is a shout out to Gandia. Not the most well-known beach town. But the whole town and the beach is squeaky clean. With a straight beach front that stretches for a couple of kilometres. Wide and beautiful promenade. White sand and clear blue sea. Not too crowded in the tourist season. Definitely a good alternative on Costa Blanca.
Very good Paella 🥘 here. Make sure to reserve well in advance! This place gets busy!
We ate here twice in the four nights we stayed next door in RH Gijon. The food was incredible (we had the Valencian Paella and Black Rice Paella), great prices and decent service. This place has won awards, and you can see why.
