Excellent experience. The service is attentive but not overwhelming. Very creative dishes with Mediterranean flavors. The ingredients, fish, olive oils, and wines, all come from the immediate area or within the Valencian community. Highly recommended.
el Xato is a really interesting experience and definitely worth visiting at least once. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We tried the tasting menu — the portions are large and filling, with interesting flavor combinations. This is traditional Spanish cuisine, so don’t expect molecular gastronomy, but everything is really tasty and clearly made with care. The restaurant has been around for over 100 years, and I left with a great impression. Highly recommend!
