Restaurante El Buen Comer

Great food . Just came out from here and I want to make a review. This is a good place to have a Spanish traditional experience.! Prices are very competitive with the area . Plenty of options here but this rest is a very good choice . Service is excellent besides being a super busy place . I recommended have the Carrillada de Cerdo and the Torrijas with Ice cream ! Thanks to our server Enrrique . He was very nice and polite!
We had the paella de mariscos and it was absolutely excellent. It was rich and juicy, packed with a generous amount of fresh fish and seafood, and full of flavor. The rice was perfectly cooked, with a delicious crispy crust on the bottom that added great texture. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. Definitely a dish we would come back for and highly recommend.
We visited this Spanish restaurant on a Sunday in April. This was probably the best one among the local restaurants we dined in during the trip. I was attracted by its high rating and good comments on Google. The staff was nice to accept our same day verbal booking made for dinner time when we walk through the street in the afternoon. Convenient location with easy access in the heart of the Alicante’s city center. At an early dinner time of 19:00, the restaurant was not that full and both indoor and outdoor tables were available. Seafoods, meats, hams, etc. were all showcased at the bar. You could for sure feel the freshness and varieties of all the ingredients the restaurant offered. We ordered suckling pig, melon with ham, grilled cuttlefish and bread with garlic and tomato saucers. For drinks, we had Sangria and beer. The seafood was so fresh and well-cooked. Suckling pig was the spot of the night. The skin was so crispy with tender meat. A highly recommended dish. The service was great too. The staffs were humorous and welcoming. Overall a really enjoyable and relaxing dinner during our trip to Alicante. Must visit again for their tapas, seafoods and paella. A highly recommended Spanish local restaurant at Alicante.
After walking past this restaurant I saw the menu on the table and was lucky it had just opened and was able to get a table straight away. Loved the food. I had the set menu which included bread and a glass of wine as well. Our waiter was so nice and friendly. Great atmosphere. Couldn't fault anything.
I was spending the day in Alicante and I have been recommended this restaurant. Local food, very professional (I reserved by phone without problem), welcoming and efficient staff. Food excellent with sizeable quantities. I will suggest sepia and calamares à la plancha, jamon iberico & queso, tuna steak, bacalao, poulpo. I will be back
