Amazing sushi and truly unique combinations. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the menu, not just classic rolls, but creative and well-balanced flavors. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. 10 out of 10
2022-06-29 Second visit to the Posito and this time we asked the chef to surprise us with a Chef's Choice menu. Another great culinary experience with Pescado Negra as the main dish. Traditional Spanish cuisine combined with some Japanese influences makes it an exciting experience. 2022-06-15 Tonight we finally went for dinner in Pósito Pesquero at Santa Pola fishing harbour. It has been on top of my wishlist for a while and the unexpected visit of one of my best friends and his partner made us decide today was the day. And the day it was. This restaurant and it's chef Emilio swept us of our feet. After 15 minutes when we were ready to order the chef came to our table with a chalk board with the specials of the day. Yellowtail kingfish was our choice. A big chunk to share between the four of us. First we ordered a number of starters with the Posito's Salad (Tomato salad with dry and crispy fish spine and skin and thin slices of tuna) as the most spectacular dish. Also the small prawn salad was fantastic. The Yellowtail Kingfish was exquisite in softness and taste. The combination of flavours in all dishes tells me the chef has a true love and passion for the food he serves. For me it compares to the best dining experiences I have had in my life. After dinner we asked for the chef to give him our compliments and staff told us he was outside on a bench next to the harbour. We went outside and I found him on a bench with his kitchen crew having a drink. I thanked him with my heart for the the wonderful experience. We will definitely meet again. Best restaurant in Santa Pola.
