This is my favourite place in Alicante to hang out for coffee and breakfast/brunch. The coffee is excellent, full of flavour, and the food is healthy and tasty especially the avocado on homemade sourdough and of course the pancakes - yum! I recently visited in the evening and I wasn't disappointed! 'Sip de Nuits' offer local dishes along with an interesting wine list. I particularly liked the Celler Kripta Brut, Cataluña and there was an interesting Chenin from Loire, crisp and with gentle fruit flavour. The octopus pasta and Asparagus dishes were so tasty. A relaxed atmosphere with different areas where you can be yourself, have privacy but equally it's a friendly place where it's easy to meet others.
Sip is always our first stop for brunch / coffee when we visit Alicante. So we were really excited to see that they now opened in the evenings too. We went along for their evening opening and were SO impressed. Such creative, tasty seasonal food. I’m vegetarian and there was plenty for me to try, and my partner said the meat dishes were excellent too. Sharing plates kind of vibe, but not tiny plates like I’ve had elsewhere. We’ve been to many cafes/restaurants in different countries and we always say Sip is the one we wish we had in our neighbourhood! A real gem & always worth a visit, now in the evenings too! Great quality coffee! We had large V60 for 8€. We could have chosen from three different origins (in the attached pictures) and we went with Floral mist from Huila, Colombia.
This was our first stop in Alicante after getting of the C6 bus from the airport. Our air bnb hosts recommend it and was just near the bus stop. We just had coffees which were great the food that we saw folks tucking into all looked great. It's not far from the market so handy if you want to rest up.
Such an amazing spot. We visited from the UK and this is by far the best coffee we had in Alicante. Super relaxed vibe with loads of room for either working or chilling. The food was so good too, and really nice to know that everything is made in house. Great for foodies and health conscious people too. Highly recommend the Turkish eggs on their sourdough! Yummy! Will be coming back and have already recommended it to family back home!
