Delicious tapas with an extensive choice. Staff were attentive and great at advising what to have. Specials were lovely. Chefs could be seen busy working in the kitchen preparing our food.
I tend not to venture to the arenal end of Javea too often, worried that short term visitors with limited experience of spanish cuisine may distort the ratings of relatively ordinary restaurants. However, I was tempted to try Munay, having taken note of its outstanding google rating of 4.9. and was not disappointed. We ate inside the restaurant, which, although dimly lit, provided a pleasant environment. The service was good, and food outstanding, ranging from the prawn tacos, brocheta de pulpo, to the arepas. Furthermore, the Mahou Maestra beer washed it all down well, and is one of the best beers I have had in Spain; though it is worth noting that it is 7.5% by volume. An excellent choice of restaurant; I only wish it was at the puerto end, so that it was more accessible to us.
Another 5-star find. Incredible ceviche, standout octopus& prawn tacos, amazing croquettes and superb Iberica pork. A husband and wife team that truly understands flavour. Don’t forget the postres ! WOW. Even serve Godello. Liquid gold. Thoroughly recommend.
