If you want to have the longest dining experience of your life, please, visit this place. Unsuspecting, we arrived for dinner at 19:15. Our drinks were delivered promptly. And after our order was taken some minutes later the wait began. I have to specify, that we were sat right in the middle of the scorching sun, which we tried to fight for a good hour. The starters didn’t appears on our table until an hour and a half. For the sake of being objective, they did give us some snacks, and a surprisingly delicious chefs special of a salmon tartar with guacamole, and cream cheese mouse. That was literally the best meal of the night. My quail salad has something resembling a very tired and disintegrated stewed quail breast with a mix of wilted salad, and some croutons. I guess they were going for a Cesar salad but decided to make it more fancy by switching chicken for quail. For a whopping eur20+ dish, this was sad and upsetting. My steak main course was better. Yet, I still can understand the price tag this restaurant has. At the time of finishing the meal, it was already past 9:30. Which meant that we had spent over 2 hours. I don’t think this place justifies the price tag or its high rating. The service was mediocre and not too welcoming. The drinks were okay.
We had a lovely time dining at Le Dauphin, it was such a wonderful experience. The food is so beautiful and the service was flawless. Our server Johnny took tremendous care of us and made us feel truly welcomed – Thank you and wishing you all the best !😊
Remarkable location and food fantastic. Service needs a bit of work to match the price point.
Great location. Nice food and service. I recommand the place even if the weather does not allow to enjoy the terrace and the view!
