We went here after several recommendations on Facebook. And woooow! This was amazing. We had the bacon wrapped shrimps for starter, and the lamb shank and steak Surf and Turf for mains. Out of the "traditional" meals we ever had, this is by far the best! And the staff is so nice and service minded. As a former hospitality worker, it warms my heart to see this kind of places still exist. The only bad thing I have to say, it's a shame I can't give 10 stars. And also, the food is presented as a feast for the eyes!
What a find! Food was first class with loads of choice, huge portions and everything cooked to perfection. The staff were lovely. Really attentive without being intrusive. Great value for money too! We'll be back.

A real gem of a restaurant in the center of El Albir. The whole dining experience from start to finish was excellent with friendly attentitive hosts and delicious food. Would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant, we will definitely be returning in the future!!
We travelled from Benidorm to Albir for food last night and found this little gem — Palmen — and it was absolutely fantastic. While we were there, people were coming in just to book tables for later in the week, which says it all! We sat outside as the inside was fully booked — always a good sign. I had the garlic prawns to start and they were amazing. For mains, I had the steak and my wife had the Cajun chicken — both just melted in your mouth. If you’re staying in Benidorm, it was only around €10 in an Uber and well worth the short trip. I would definitely recommend visiting, but I’d also recommend booking in advance to guarantee your place. The owners were lovely people too — nothing was too much trouble. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
