This restaurant is tucked away up the street, it's very clean and inviting, not too many seats, with welcoming staff. We had the set menu today one 12.95 an one 14.95. The pork chilli starter was superb. The chicken soip was delicious, altho it wasn't necessary to put the pieces of chicken in. The steak was cooked to perfection. (Blue) We will definitely be back.
Warm friendly welcome. Huge choice of food to suit all tastes. Very efficient waiting staff. Delightful host. Try the salmon.... very nice. Curries,salads,seafood, meat dishes...beef goulash tender and tasty.Set menu very well priced. Can get busy but not noisy.
Friendly and welcoming. Nice central location. We are vegan and vegetarian, so although there is a good choice of vegetable curry dishes, on the non-Indian menu there are very few options indeed. We decided to try the house salad (without chicken) and a simple side-dish of fries. The basic salad was actually excellent, but rather spoiled by being drenched (without consultation) in mayonnaise. Please - a tip for the staff: do not add sauces without asking first as this made it inedible for a vegan and not everyone likes mayonnaise anyway (we prefer simple oil and balsamic which is not a good mix with mayonnaise). The salad ingredients were all very good, however, as were the fries. Tasty, hot and not greasy. Very reasonable prices. Certainly many vegetarian curry dishes if you are looking for those. We would happily try again.
