I'm a biker and I always ride many kilometers to find a good place for lunch. Setrill has been a find of the century. For starters, it has plenty of parking. Also, a great terrace with cool views and a very peaceful atmosphere. As for their food...it couldn't be better! Incredible sandwiches, flatbreads, etc. They are super friendly, fast, professional, and attentive to every detail. The price is very reasonable for the high quality and excellent service. There are many places to go, but few like this one! Oh! And they give you a loyalty card with free lunch! I have to stay for lunch one day!
My partner and I were there this Sunday, and from the very first moment, you could tell how much this family cares about their work and how much they care. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, the waiter was incredibly friendly and helpful, offering us great advice on the menu, and the food was absolutely spectacular! We will definitely be back; we loved everything.
My partner and I had a fantastic experience at El Setrill in Banyeres de Mariola. From the very first moment, the service was impeccable: Pablo and Ximo took wonderful care of us, always attentive, friendly, and with a warmth that was much appreciated. Chef David even came out to greet us, a thoughtful touch that demonstrates the passion they put into their work. To start, since we arrived early and the kitchen hadn't yet opened, they kindly brought us a Russian salad and some torreznos (crispy pork belly) accompanied by a cold draft beer, and honestly, they were some of the best torreznos we've had lately: crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Russian salad, for its part, had that homemade flavor reminiscent of the classic kind, like grandma used to make. After a long walk through the town, that little something was much appreciated while we waited for the kitchen to open. Afterwards, we continued with the special tapas menu, and everything was delicious, especially the secreto (Iberian pork) with truffle and their special Setrill potatoes. As a final touch, the desserts were spectacular, especially the chocolate cake with Lotus Biscoff, which was so good we wanted seconds. The restaurant itself is another plus: an open, clean space with plenty of natural light, comfortable chairs, and a very pleasant atmosphere. It also has its own parking for customers. Furthermore, the setting is unbeatable, surrounded by the natural beauty of Banyeres, making the experience even more special. Without a doubt, a place to return to and recommend. We can't wait to go back!
Lunch was a 10/10. The sandwiches were generous and original. The place is spacious and comfortable, with lovely decor. The cremaet (a type of coffee) with brandy was truly excellent. Congratulations! This has become a permanent fixture in my list of favorite places.
Today we had lunch at El Setrill. The service and dedication of the entire team were excellent, and the sandwiches were very good; we will definitely be back. We had lunch with the 77th member of Valencia Moto Rutas.
