On first visit during the day we faced a great place with tasty food and drinks. However, once we decided to go there again in the evening we faced somewhat rude approach with stuff shouting something on Spanish, as we understood they stated that opening time is 21:00 but not 20:00 as it was stated in the google (we came there around 20:30)
Unlike the typical beach bar for tourists, Origin has the vibe of an old town center restaurant. Excellent service, great paella, and very reasonable prices. For restaurants along the boardwalk this was a very welcome surprise!
One of the best paellas I’ve ever had. We ordered the paella with mixed seafood, some croquetas and the home made cheese cake. Everything tasted so good! And the service was also excellent. They tried to speak English and explained everything on the menu. The young lady also gave us some food recommendations, which I found very nice. Plus: the restaurant was about to close at 4pm but they still let us sit and eat although it was 3.45.
I was absolutely delighted with my visit to this restaurant! The food was outstanding – fresh, full of flavour and prepared with great attention to detail. You can tell straight away that they place a high value on quality here. The atmosphere is simply wonderful too: stylishly decorated, cosy and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the evening. Special praise goes to the staff, especially Aisha and Alfredo. Both were incredibly friendly and attentive, and made the visit something truly special. You don’t experience such warm service everywhere! I can highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!
