The pizza was great! One of the group also took moussaka and it was delicious, not a traditional one but good.
Lovely attentive service. Good Pizza, Lasagne Al Bolognese. 1st came here 40yrs ago, still good. Well done Pizzeria Pepa.
A family institution, ruined. Since reopening this year, the ‘new menu’ seems to have forgotten just why this place has been so popular for decades. Many old favourites and crowd pleasers now removed and replaced with fancy options, predominately foie gras. I can only presume that the new manager has a penchant for this unethical product given how it has now been added to pretty much every dish possible. The three pages of pizzas now reduced to less than one and when one was requested from the old menu we were told no, despite them having all of the ingredients. To attempt to go high end they need to improve the decor, ambience and staffing of this restaurant. Everyone tolerated these issues before because the food was consistently good. Now it’s mediocre, limited, unappealing and with a clear sense of having lost its way. Why they felt the need to fix what wasn’t broken escapes me. From a regular who won’t be going back.
