Great place for fresh seafood in the heart of Alicante. The food was delicious and fresh, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Excellent value for money and definitely worth a visit. I especially recommend the fried seafood specialties and a cold beer to go with them.
The food is excellent and extremely fresh. The choice of different fish and seefood is great. All dishes (8) we tried were very tasty and the tempura was delicate, extremely thin and made with extra virgin olive oil. This place excellent for dinner or lunch, after work or after sunbathing. We changed or plans to visit Bodegita 1999, to stay all evening in this lovely place.
Beautiful discovery this fry shop in Alicante! The fried seafood here is absolutely delicious, fresh and cooked perfectly. What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff—the guys working there are so incredibly kind and attentive. Both the person in the kitchen and the one serving made me feel so welcome and truly made my evening special. If you're looking for great food and even better company, this is the place to be. Super fresh and delicious. I agree with the other reviews, the veggies are the best. So thin and crispy. We also enjoyed the cuttlefish. Nice and casual place.
Great little hidden gem downtown Alicante. Although its right in the center surrounded by touristic restaurants this place stands out as a local place. Very small inside but that creates a great atmosphere. I love the fried seafood. I had almost all the items on the menu but my favorite it the fried octopus/pulpo. The staff is also very friendly and engaging.
