Description

Guadalest is one of the most beautiful villages with an authentic flavor of Alicante Community.Initially,it was built during the Islamic times by the Berber or Amazigh people followed by several civilizations over time; who left a remarkable heritage with several monuments, such as, the Moorish castle, the medieval quarter and the excavated bullring. We will visit a mountain village perched on the rock, surrounded by the landscape of the Alicante naturalpark. Its medieval quarter has labyrinthine streets and houses built into the stone. There we can visit monuments that are rare in other places, such as the snowfield located in the town, the church of Guadalest, which has an extraordinary goldsmith's museum, the Castle in the mountain, dates from 1843 and whose site is excavated in the rock and the most famous monument of the town, We will also get to know the local products and visit the blue lake and posible swim.
