Explore in half-day tour from Alicante the impressive medieval castles in a peaceful and beautiful villages. Visit Castle of La Mola at Novelda, 34 km away from Alicante, a big fortress of Islamic origin with panoramic views and a unique triangular tower in Spain. See the castle of Petrer and Sax, located on top of a high rock, and discover the interior of the spectacular castle of Villena (half of the tower built by the Almohads and the half by the Christians after its reconquest) Visit to the 'festero' museum where a collection of objects related to the historic medieval battles of Moors and Christians is housed. See the picturesque castle of Biar, and the castle of Castalla. Approximate total duration 5 hours.
