This amazing event in Alicante has a spectacular model of the Titanic at 1:30 scale, 12 metres long, 4.20m high and 3.90m wide.
Jewels of the exhibition in Alicante include the original 'Titanic car', manufactured in Detroit (USA), in 1909, a Brush D.24, which, moreover, is recognized as the oldest car in the world and Enrique Gran's original 'The Dream of the Titanic'.
The exhibition shows images, objects and original documents. These icons, from the smallest object (a ring of the passenger Millvina Dean), to the largest (the reconstruction of the ship), serve as tools to tell the true stories that happened on board in its lifetime over four days. It includes stories told by survivors of the tragedy.
The Titanic exhibition has already visited Granada, Tarragona, Vigo, León, Coruña, Bilbao, Santander, Barcelona, Gijón and Burgos with great success.
Opening hours and prices for the Titanic exhibition in Alicante:
Open every day except Mondays from 10.30 to 21.30
July and August it is open from 16.30 to 22.00
Price on Tuesdays to Thursdays if free for children under 6, €6 for people over 65, children, unemployed and people with disabilities, €8 general entrance.
On Fridays to Sundays and fiesta days, the price is free for children under 6, €8 for people over 65, children, unemployed and people with disabilities, €10 general entrance.
