Cabo Roig is starting to turn Green for St Patrick's Day on the Costa Blanca with more than 10,000 people joining in to make it the the second largest celebration in Europe, after Dublin, and sixth in the world.
Activities start on St. Paddy's Day just after noon, with a craft market at the medical centre car park. The St Patrick's Day Parade on the Cabo Roig starts around 3.00pm, led by a procession of classic cars and motorbikes, prior to St. Patrick himself, plus floats from many of the local pubs and business, dance schools, local clubs and associations, all providing entertainment for the spectators along the entire Cabo Roig Strip.
After the Cabo Roig St Patrick's Day Parade, there will be live music. There's a Bono Tribute at the Auld Dubliner from 4pm to 8.30pm. O'Riordan's have Motive with Rosie and Noel from 5pm to 9pm. Ricky Young is playing at the Cabo Roig Inn from 8pm to 10pm.
