Guided by a local chef and a friendly host, you’ll prepare some of Spain’s most iconic dishes while learning about the traditions, stories, and flavors that make Mediterranean cuisine so special. The class takes place in a real local kitchen — a cozy, authentic space where people from Alicante gather and eat together. You’ll chop, mix, and taste your way through a menu of traditional tapas made with fresh ingredients sourced that morning from the Central Market. This isn’t just a cooking class — it’s a social and cultural experience where you’ll learn authentic recipes, hear the stories behind each dish, and enjoy the meal you’ve created together. On the menu: classic Spanish omelette (tortilla de patatas), refreshing gazpacho, bacon-wrapped dates, chorizo a la sidra, a pork tosta with turrón sauce, and a sweet finale — torrija (similar to French toast) with turrón ice cream. After cooking, sit down to enjoy the dishes you’ve created with your group.
